HighlightFlow
Terms of Service
Effective date: August 21, 2026
Provider: Matthew Skowron
Contact: support@skowronworks.com
These Terms govern use of HighlightFlow: Highlighter & Extractor (“HighlightFlow”). By installing or using HighlightFlow, you agree to these Terms. If you use the add-on for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
Service
HighlightFlow applies labeled background colors in the current Google Doc and extracts highlighted passages into clipboard, Markdown, or CSV output. Features may be changed to improve security, reliability, compatibility, or usability.
Free and Pro features
The free tier includes two palettes, document-color import, highlight extraction, preview, and clipboard export. Pro adds up to 24 palettes and Markdown/CSV downloads. Current pricing and license terms are displayed before purchase.
Payments, taxes, receipts, refunds, chargebacks, and license-key delivery are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. Any mandatory consumer rights in the buyer's jurisdiction remain unaffected.
License
Subject to these Terms, the provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use HighlightFlow. You may not bypass license enforcement, misuse the service, interfere with other users, or use the add-on to violate law or third-party rights.
Your documents and exports
You retain responsibility for and rights to your documents and exports. You are responsible for checking output before relying on it. HighlightFlow is not a backup, records-management system, legal review service, or substitute for professional advice.
Availability
The add-on depends on Google Docs, Apps Script, browser capabilities, and—only for Pro validation—the license provider. The provider does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every document structure, account policy, browser, or third-party change.
Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HighlightFlow is provided “as is” and without implied warranties. The provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. The provider's aggregate liability arising from a paid license will not exceed the amount paid for that license during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using HighlightFlow at any time. The provider may suspend access for abuse, fraud, security risk, or material violation of these Terms. Pro deactivation and local setting reset are available in the add-on.
Governing terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes that may be brought in court is the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Mandatory local consumer law continues to apply where required.
